Last Saturday Hannah and I went to the BYU football game in Seattle and we also took Ansel and Jonas with us. What an amazing game, it was back and forth the whole time with BYU getting the win on a blocked extra point, it was so awesome. We started out sitting in our seats, which me and Hannah were the only coug fans around for the first half. Although I must say that the Husky fans(for the most part) were very friendly and extremely loud. So for the second half we moved into the endzone that was full of cougar fans and we enjoyed the second half. Jonas loved doing the cheers and every time the cheerleaders started a new one he would be yelling it out, he had a fun time and Ansel was in a different section with some of his friends. Afterwards all the BYU fans stayed and the players walked by as we all cheered and gave them high fives. That had to be the funnest game that I have been to in a long time, it was just such a great atmosphere with very passionate fans on both sides.
We enjoyed a victory meal at the Cheescake factory in Bellvue, we figured staying out of the downtown area was a good idea. It was delicous as always and we even had left-overs for the next day, thanks Jen and again sorry about the van.
I began Fire academy last week, I have classes Mon and Thur nights for three hours and then we have drills every other Saturday. The academy goes until the week before Christmas. I also begin school on September 22 and will be taking two classes, but those two classes are worth 13 credits. So this Seattle trip was a nice way to say goodbye to some down time over the next few months. I also had my physical last week and all went well, then I had an aerobic exercise where I had to run at at least 6.9mph for 12 minutes and cover a minimum of 1.39 miles. All my hard work paid off as I was able to run 1.64 miles in 12 minutes.

Man - wish I could have been there. And we both have stuff going on this Saturday! No more one point blocked kick games - I want to DESTROY UCLA!!!
I met the cousin of Raiders QB Marques Tuiasosopo - his name is Eldon and he is in the branch and institute - just moved in. He was recruited with Unga and had a scholarship offer but couldn't handle the academics. Took the BYU tour with Harvey. Neat guy. We hugged, Samoa style...
I am very proud of all your hard work and the BYU game was a BLAST!!!
Thanks again for taking Ansel and Jonas up to the game...they always have fun with Uncle Brandon!
