As you all know I grew up without any pets and to tell you the truth was somewhat afraid of dogs as a child. Hannah has always wanted to have a dog or some sort of pet. Having never experienced having any kind of pet I was a little hesitant and never really liked the idea. But that all changed as Hannah's parents got a dog and we got to watch her last summer as her parents traveled the United States. We had so much fun with Tai Tai and we were very excited to get our own puppy, but it had to be a Lhasa Apso.
We have now had Maggy for six weeks (I believe) and we have loved it. Sure at first there was the crying and messes to clean up, but now she hardly ever makes a noise and is starting to use the doggy door to go outside, thank goodness.
Maggy went to get groomed for the first time on Tuesday and got a puppy cut, they cleaned up her face, belly and paws but left the hair on top. We really like her fluffy hair and will probably keep it a little longer, except during the hot summer.
Who knew that this little thing could be so fun and bring joy into your life. We have had so much fun with her and now we are trying to teach her basic training like sitting, stay, and things like that, it should be fun.

She is a cutie...I love the longer hair. You guys are great pet parents and I'm just glad the kids get their "fix" for a pet through Maggy!
I'll have to say, she's cuter than Tai Tai...crud, I'd say she cuter than some kids in our neighborhood...
So, when you going to bring her down for a visit?
I also think we should all go in and buy a pet for Christopher and Jen's kids...like a ferret.

Gotta go - mom's making popcorn. Almost plain popcorn...ten pounds in ten weeks - a pound a week - that's all I want for 2008!!!
Brandon, she is just about the cutest puppy in the world. It is interesting that you are now the one that likes having an animal more than I do... I am glad that you picked this one out, you have better luck than me. :)
